Arborealis Wins Excellence Award from Applied Arts · July 25, 2006
Arborealis has been awarded an excellence award in design and printing in the book category by Applied Arts Magazine.
THADDEUS HOLOWNIA · THE TERRA NOVA SUITE
The Provincial Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador, The Rooms is preparing a major survey of work by Thaddeus Holownia; an exhibition examining 25 years (1981–2006) of photographs responding to Newfoundland and Labrador.
The show opens in St. John's on September 29, 2006, and continues until January 7, 2007.
Accompanying this project is a publication reproducing images from the exhibition alongside texts by curator Bruce Johnson and a new commissioned work by Newfoundland novelist Lisa Moore.
